Suppliers and Factories
All suppliers and factories are subjected to rigorous assessments that encompass ethical policies. Overseas Trading Ltd. requires its suppliers to adhere to the principles of the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) Base Code, ensuring:
- No forced labor is utilised.
- A safe and hygienic working environment is maintained.
- Child labor is strictly prohibited.
- Wages meet or exceed national legal standards or industry benchmarks, whichever is higher.
- There is no discrimination in hiring, compensation, training access, promotion, termination, or retirement based on race, caste, national origin, religion, age, disability, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, union membership, or political affiliation.
- Workers are treated humanely, with no harsh or inhumane treatment allowed.
